Finding Veliky Novgorod

Driving into Novgorod on the M-10 past some Russian "village" houses.  The weathered wood with varied colors and natural hues along with interesting window panes give the wood stove - warmed homes their country look. No

Yuri drove through the rain and carried my luggage up four flights of stairs into my extremely hip flat, which is NOT one of these houses.

Natalia explained while we rode through the Gypsy village and into the beautiful city.

Glad to hear you arrived safely. Isn't it nice of men to do that -- carry luggage -- for women? That happened to me, too. If you feel it's okay to do so, take some pictures of the apartment, okay? Oh -- and that brown stuff is toilet paper. : )

Yes, I find many gentlemen in this neck of the woods. I'll post some photos of the flat, perhaps with some narration. It truly is a delightful accommodation, with all the luxuries I could want. You ougta see the fish selection at the supermarket - we are near a lake, so much fish is fresh, plus the Black Sea seafood too.
